Work officially commenced on site with test drilling on Monday 9th November. Sonia had a call from the PD slab supervisor to explain that earthworks would start the following day and, true to his word, an excavator was on site Tuesday. This week has seen site levelling and the insertion of steel screw piles across the site. Next week will see pipes go in and the slab should be poured by the end of the month. We can now start to visualise where the house will sit on the land and it has become very clear what a great block we have. Not only do we have sweeping views of the water and out to Port Philip Bay, but we will still have a very large garden (to landscape weed, mow....!) with lots of room for a pool. It seems a very long way off but we're finally underway. And it feels great!
